Swine flu claims 3 more lives, toll climbs to 573
New Delhi, Nov 24: Three more persons succumbed to the deadly Swine Flu on Sunday evening, Nov 29, taking the toll due to the disease in the country to 573.
According to health ministry release report, there were also reports of 139 fresh cases of swine flu from across the country during the day. All cases were indigenous.
The release said, "Till date, samples from 86,841 people have been tested for Influenza A H1N1 (swine flu) in government laboratories and a few private laboratories across the country, and 18,007 (20.7 per cent) of them have been found positive."
