MPs absent, Question Hour collapses in LS
New Delhi, Nov 30: The Lok Sabha Question Hour collapsed on Monday, Nov 30, due to the absence of the MPs who were to ask questions.
Speaker Meira Kumar invited members to ask questions but the house could take up only two questions related to defence and rural development.
She continued with the procedure of the Question Hour amid protests by Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Samajwadi Party (SP) members for sending a central team to asses the law and order situation in West Bengal.
After completing the procedure of the Question Hour, the speaker adjourned the house at 11: 30 am for half an hour.
