Maoists blow up Gaya school building

Gaya (Bihar), Nov 29 (ANI): Maoists have blown up a school building in Bihar's Gaya district.

The primary school was blown up on Saturday in the Imamganj area of the district.

"It is a completely anti-development activity by the Maoists. They want that these kids should remain confined to the jungles, remain uneducated and by doing this, they are trying to pull down the morale of the people," said Ranjan Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Sherghati).

A combing operation has been launched to apprehend the attackers. (ANI)
