JK: Two militants killed in Doda

Jammu, Nov 26: Even as the country remembers the 26/11 carnage on the first anniversary, signs of continual infiltration continue to haunt India as the police on Thursday, Nov 26, revealed that security personnel enganged in a gunbattle with two militants and killed them in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Wednesday, Nov 25 gunbattle followed after 10 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation acting on a tip-off.

Police officials said adding the militants fired on the security personnel. And security personnel retaliated killing the two militants on the spot.

Arms and ammunition including one self loading rifle, one 3.3 rifle and a digital pistol were recovered.
