Taj Mahal put on terror alert

Lucknow, Nov 25: Taj Mahal has been put on high security following reports of terror threat from Lashkar-e-Toiba.

Refusing to divulge further details on the issue, ADG law and order, AK Jain said that security agencies like the Agra police, CISF and other agencies have been put on alert following regular inputs from central agencies.

The move came after IB received inputs on possible terror attacks by LeT on Nov 20 and 21.

Taj Mahal had been put on alert ever since it was reported that David Coleman Headley, the LeT operative arrested by FBI for plotting terror attacks on India, had visited Agra.
