Persecution of Hindus will be termed as war: VHP

New Delhi, Nov 25: While the Liberhan Commission report continue to create in upheavals in the parliament, VHP on Nov 24,has warned of severe consequences if Hindus are persecuted on the basis of war.

"Any action against Hindu society regarding Ram temple and Babri demolition will be not only be considered action against Hindu society but it will be considered war against the Hindu society," VHP leader Praveen Togadia.

Vowing to construct a Ram temple in Ayodhya, he said that the commission report cannot deter them from their mission to building the Ram temple, adding that they are willing to lay down their lives for the cause.

Pledging fulfilment of the Hindu community's expectation by building the temple, Togadia said he has appealed to Sonia Gandhi to ensure a speedy construction of the temple by removing all hurdles.
