Now, 'Malaysian Fritzl' who kept daughter as sex slave for 8 years
Kuala Lumpur, November 25 (ANI): A Malaysian man was detained after using his daughter as his sex slave for eight years.
The 38-year-old man was detained in his house in Bangi after the matter was reported to the police.
The girl, who began suffering the abuse when she was six, was said to have informed her mother about her father's sexual deeds.
According to Harian Metro, her mother refused to believe her story and went on to accuse her of smearing the family's name, reports the Star Online.
The girl then confided in her 16-year-old eldest sister, who had also endured sexual abuse by their father, and cops were involved.
A police source said: "The suspect said he did not rape her, but instead, claimed the girl was desperate and frequently gazed at him with lust.
"He said he had no choice but to fulfil her sexual needs but never forced himself on her."
The source added: "The eldest daughter had also previously lodged a police report claiming she was raped by the father but retracted it after persuasion from her family members."
The case maybe likened to that of Josef Fritzl, the 73-year-old Austrian who was sentenced to life imprisonment for raping and imprisoning his daughter for 24 years and fathering seven children with her. (ANI)
