Nainital: 7-year-old girl raped, murdered
Nanital, Nov 24: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped and killed in Ramnagar town of the Nanital district, police said on Tuesday, Nov 23.
According to police, the girl went missing from a wedding reception on Nov 17.
The body was spotted on Monday, Nov 23, by a labourer at the construction site in the town, 65 kms from here.
A postmortem of the body revealed rape and murder, police said, adding that an investigation is on.
Meanwhile, people staged demonstrations and blocked the Corbett National Park-Delhi highway to mark their protest following which a case was registered in this connection.
