BJP terms Babri demolition as happiest day: Report

New Delhi, Nov 23: While the Liberhan report has created quite a storm, the BJP leaders sound less than repented about the fateful event.

Showing no signs of remorse, BJP leader Vinay Katiyar,accused in the Babri Masjid demolition said that the destruction of the Masjid by the Karsevaks was the happiest day of his life.

"If you ask me four times, I will repeat four times that it was the happiest day of my life," he said, adding the demolition was not a plan a move.

Echoing Katiyar's opinion BJP MP Yogi Adityanath said that demolition of the structure was a moment of pride for the them as the Masjid was nothing but a disputed structure at Ayodhya.

Emphasizing the party's stand on building a Ram temple in the disputed site, BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said that the party is firm in their decision to build a Ram temple.
