Rahul- Priyanka commence Amethi tour

Amethi, Nov 20 (ANI): Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka have begun their two - day visit of Amethi constituency.

Priyanka and Rahul are scheduled to interact with party workers. Rahul, who represents Amethi in the Lok Sabha, will review the progress of various schemes, including the Mahila Pariyojna initiated by him in the constituency.

Both Priyanka and Rahul will also attend a meeting of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation in which both are trustees.

The State Police are not taking any chances during the visit as the Union Home Ministry has asked the Uttar Pradesh Government to upgrade Rahul's security cover during his visits to the state. (ANI)
