Face interrogation or be arrested; ED on Koda
New Delhi, Nov 20: Sending a stern warning to Koda for his defiance of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) order, Ed has said on Friday, Nov 20, that Koda will be arrested if fails to turn up for interrogation.
Koda had earlier said that as a member of the parliament he was entitled to get an advance notice of atleast 30 days and cannot be summoned in an arbitrary way by ED.
According to media reports ED was forced to take this step following the repeated attempts by Koda to escape interrogation on money laundering and corruption charges levelled against him.
Koda was summon by ED to turn up for questioning on Nov 19, which he refused stating that he was busying campaigning for the upcoming Assembly elections.
He also said that he would be attending the winter session of parliament in Delhi.
