12-yr-old girl set on fire for stealing Rs 1,400
Patna, Nov 20: In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old girl was set on fire by her neighbour after she allegedly stole Rs 1,440, police said on Friday, Nov 20.
According to police, Priti Kumari, a student of Class 7 in a government school and daughter of a labourer, was set on fire Thursday, Nov 19 at Chhoti Machuatoli area.
A police officer said Priti was admitted to the Patna Medical College Hospital with over 30 percent burn injuries.
However, Priti has denied stealing any money.
