67 Samsung employees hospitalised in Noida
Noida, Nov 18: A suspected gas leak in the washing machine unit of South Korea-based Samsung in Noida Phase-II led to the admission of atleast 67 employees in the hospital on Tuesday, Nov 17.
Denying the usage of gas in its units, company spokesperson said that gas leakage must have occured from vehicles which were passing by its premises.
Kailash Hospital Chairman Mahesh Sharma informed that while most of them have been discharged, eight of the victims are placed under observation and the six are in ICU.
The employees were brought to hospital following complaints of headache, nausea and breathlessness.
