IIM-B ranked number one biz school in India
Bangalore, Nov 17: Just days after the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) announced its success in getting all the students of 2010 batch placed, the institute has been once again been ranked the number one business school in India.
This is the second consecutive year that the institute has been awarded with this title as per the 2009 worldwide business school ranking done by Eduniversal, a unit of French consulting firm SMBG.
IIM-B has been given '5 Palmes' in the Eduniversal Palmes 2009. The 5 Palmes is the highest recognition under the evaluation.
This ranking, after the assessment accorded to 'Universal Business Schools with major international influence', puts the Indian business institute among the top 100 business schools worldwide..
The Deans of the 1,000 best business schools across 153 countries voted for IIMB with a recommendation rate of 395 per thousand.
IIM-B is followed by IIM Ahmedabad (IIM-A) which bagged a recommendation rate of 345 per thousand.
