AI airhostess was not sexually assaulted: NCW
New Delhi, Nov 17: Giving a clean chit to the Air India pilots in the molestation case, National Commission for Women (NCW) said that the air hostess, Komal Singh was not sexually assaulted.
"There is no sexual harassment by the commander to Komal Singh," Wansuk Syiem, NCW member who was a part of the probe committee, said.
"It is just a misbehaviour from both sides. I must say some arguments were there, which caused this physical push by the commander to her," she said.
Before this, an Air India probe panel gave a clean chit to the two pilots who were charged with sexual harassment by the airhostess.
The controversy started off when Komal Singh accused captain Ranbir Arora and co-pilot Aditya Chopra of molesting her during a mid-air scuffle in the cockpit. Looking for justice she later approached the NCW.
