PM impressed by Mamata's performance: TMC
New Delhi, Nov 16: Dismissing claims about the Prime Minister's displeasure with Mamata Banerjee, Trinamool Congress leader and MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is deeply satisfied with her performance.
"There is no iota of truth in it. PM is deeply satisfied with her performance," Bandyopadhyay said , adding that she should not be held responsible for the accidents which took place due to human error.
It was reported that Mamata was asked to submit a status report on the railways in a fortnight in the backdrop of six railway accidents that have occurred in the last 40 days.
Mamata has been criticised for remaining absent from her ministry at the time of major crises.
