Koda cannot blackmail Cong: Singhvi
New Delhi, Nov 16: The Congress party has rubbished former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda's threat to 'reveal names behind the conspiracy' to book him in money laundering scam.
Speaking to reporters, Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, "Congress has nothing to hide, but equally, we cannot be smudged and (our) reputation maligned."
Singhvi said Koda cannot blackmail the party as they are not hiding any details in the case.
He maintained that law would take its course in the Koda case and said the former chief minister is being prosecuted by the Congress regimes, both at the Centre and the state.
Earlier, Koda had said that he would come out with the names of persons in the Congress party who were trying to fix him in the money laundering case.
