Gelatin blast kills 8, injures 20 in Andhra

Hyderabad, Nov 16: An explosion of illegally stored gelatin sticks killed eight people and injured 20 others in Narayanpur of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh on Monday, Nov 16.

While the death toll is yet to be determined, police said that the number of deaths may rise up once the debris are cleared by rescue workers who have removed eight of the death bodies.

The injured were admitted in government-run hospitals.

Ten houses has reportedly been damaged in the blast.

The house were the explosion took place belongs to a businessmen who used to illegally sell the gelatin sticks to mine owners.
