I-T officer's son probing Koda's case assaulted

Jamshedpur, Nov 13: Son of I-T inspector AK Majhi, who was one of the officials investigating Madhu Koda scam, was assaulted by two unidentified people on Friday, Nov 12.

According to the police, Abhishek Majhi was attacked with stones near Chenab Road under Sakchi police station when he was returning home.

The duo continued their assault on Abhishek even after he fell down and fled with his mobile phone leaving him with serious head injuries.

He was admitted in Tata Main Hospital.

Though police ruled out AK Majhi's involvement in the investigation against Koda as the motive behind the attack, they said that it looked as if the attackers were apparently waiting to attack him.
