Meira to meet political leaders to ensure smooth conduct of Parliament

New Delhi, Nov 12 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar is meeting leaders of all political parties to ensure a smooth conduct of the winter session of Parliament, which begins from November 19.

The Opposition is expected to raise a number of issues during this session, including the telecom sector scam and the price rise.

The problems of sugarcane growers and India's growing tensions with China are also likely to be taken up.

The Samajwadi Party (SP) is also expected to stall proceedings by protesting against Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) lawmakers for their recent assault of SP MLA Abu Azmi. (ANI)
