Infoys BPO acquiring US-based McCamish Systems
Mumbai, Nov 12: The business process outsourcing (BPO) arm of Infosys Technologies has inked a deal to acquire US-based McCamish Systems.
The company made the announcement on Thursday, Nov 12 informing that the acquisition will be made with an upfront payment of 38 million dollars, along with an additional 20 million dollars based on targets.
The acquisition is expected to be completed later in 2009.
The BPO arm of India's leading software service provider has been busy in the recent past with many projects.
Earlier this month, the company entered into an agreement with the Andhra Pradesh government to set up 22 BPO centres in rural districts of the state.
Infosys BPO has also announced its plans to increase its headcount by 2,000 employees by the end of the current fiscal.
