Rains continue to lash Tamil Nadu, 70 killed
Chennai, Nov 10: Landslides and other adversities caused due to intermittent rain that continues to lash Tamil Nadu has killed as many as 70 people over the last two week.
31 people died in rain related incidents overnight, out of which 27 were reported from Niligiris district on Tuesday, Nov 10, the police said.
Most of the fatalities were caused due to wall and roof collapses, electrocution and landslides, police added.
