Russia: Military plane crashes, 9 killed
Moscow, Nov 7: A Russian military plane, Tu-142-M3 anti-submarine turboprop, crashed on Friday, Nov 6, killing nine on board in the Tatsky Strait, 20 kms off the Pacific coast.
According to news agency report, defence officials said that aircraft, which was widely used by soviet navy, was finishing its training flight went missing from the radar screens around 1100 hrs.
Emergency boats are being deployed to retrieve the bodies of the crew and the wreckage form the water.
