Pak to take up arms issues with India
Islamabad, Nov 7: Pakistan foreign office spokesman, Abdul Basit has said that it would take up the issue of Indian arms seizure at South Waziristan with New Delhi and seek explanation for sponsoring and abetting terrorism and militancy in Pakistan.
Accusing India of engaging in promoting terror activities, Basit was quoted in the media report as,"India is the only country that does not acknowledge our services in terror elimination. That is indeed unfortunate. India immediately starts blaming Pakistan whenever a terrorist attack happens on their soil."
Basit has also blamed India for not taking Pakistan's attempt to fight terrorism seriously.
Pakistan's stance came after Indian foreign minister Nirupama Rao's appeal to the international community to pressurise Pakistan to recommit itself to fight terrrorism in its region at South-Asia 2020 conference.
