Tata affordable housing coming to B'lore, Kolkata
New Delhi, Nov 6: After receiving very good response from Mumbai, Tata Group is planning on extending its affordable housing venture to cities such as Bangalore and Kolkata in the project's next phase.
Tata Group Chairman, Ratan Tata who was in Mumbai to attend the silver jubilee function of the company-run High Range School, announced this news while speaking to reporters.
He also said that the government of Maldives has expressed interest in the company's housing venture.
The company received encouraging respose from Mumbai after it announced the launch of its affordable housing project under the name of 'New Haven" at Boisar in Sep 2009.
Starting from Rs 12.73 lakh, Tata's proposed 1,300 apartments would include two BHK and three BHK houses.
