Enforcement Directorate arrests Koda's associate

Ranchi, Nov 6: Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday, Nov 6 made the first arrest in connection with the hawala transactions and illegal investments scam involving former Jharkhand CM, Madhu Koda.

ED arrested Vikas Sinha, who is not only an associate of Koda but also the brother of another associate Binod Sinha. He will now be produced before a local court where the ED will seek to remand him and later send him to the Directorate's regional headquarters in Patna.

Quoting ED sources reports say that Vikas was arrested for his alleged involvement in investing and routing Koda's money through hawala channels.
