IT department seals Madhu Koda's property

Ranchi, Nov 4: Income Tax Department which is probing into the alleged disproportionate assests of the former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda reportedly sealed some rooms and almirahs at Koda's Ranchi residence.

After sealing the properties of Koda and his associates, the IT Department on Wednesday, Nov 4 issued prohibitory orders under Section 132 of the Income Tax Act.

A team of Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials took possession of documents relating to alleged hawala transaction and illegal investments running into crore of rupees.
