Mumbai: Two teenagers rape 4-yr-old girl

Mumbai, Nov 3: According to a media report, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two 17-year-old boys in the Shantilal Compound slum in Santa Cruz (East), Mumbai.

The two teenagers who have been arrested allegedly picked up the child at around 10.30 pm on Sunday, Nov 1 while she was playing outside, reports DNA quoting police officers.

The child was later taken to an empty house where she was raped and threatened against speaking about the incident.

"The victim was also alone at her home, as her parents were out," inspector Prashant Bagade of the Nirmal Nagar police station was quoted as saying in the report published on Tuesday, Nov 3.

When the girl returned home her mother saw that she was bleeding. After the mother heard about the incident, she decided to file a case.

The girl was later taken to N Desai Hospital in Santa Cruz (East) where she is still receiving treatment.
