JK: Army foils infiltration bid, militant killed
Srinagar, Nov 3: Security forces foiled an infiltration bid by killing a militant in Kupwara district of North Kashmir on Tuesday, Nov 3.
According to defence spokesman, troops noticed some suspicious movement in Tangdhar, 170 kms from here, and challenged a group of militants who were trying to infiltrate.
They were asked to surrender but they opened fire. In retaliatory action, a militant was killed.
The operation in the area was still going, he added.
