Iran act swiftly: IAEA Chief
United Nations, Nov 3: Urging Iran to act promptly, International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) Chief ElBaradei advised Iran to accept US, Russia and France request to open its enriched Uranium.
Calling it to be an opportunity which should not be missed the outgoing IAEA chief said,"This is a unique and fleeting opportunity to reverse course from confrontation to cooperation and should, therefore, not be missed."
Earlier, Iran was in talks with the three nations to open its enriched Urnanium plant near Qum and export it outside Iran to covert it into fuel for small reactors.
ElBaradei's request to Iran came in his last address in the UN General Assembly as the chief of IAEA, in which he expressed his regret over the Iraq war and urged nations to be part of multilateral dialogues and not isolate opposing nations.
