Delhi HC dismisses paternity plea against Tiwari
New Delhi, Nov 3: The Delhi High Court has dismissed a paternity plea against the Andhra Pradesh governor, ND Tiwari citing that the suit filed by Rohit Shekhar, claiming that the 84-year-old governor is his biological father, is not maintainable.
Justice S N Dhingra who passed this ruling on Tuesday, Nov 3 allowed the plea of Tiwari who sought dismissal of the petition.
Senior advocate Rajiv Nayyar who appeared for Tiwari argued that Rohit's plea was barred under the time limitation and hence was not maintainable.
Shekhar had filed a petition stating that he was born out of an intimate relationship between his mother who was a Congress party activist Ujjwala Sharma and Tiwari.
