Three Margao blast suspects arrested
Panaji, Nov 2: Nearly a month after the Margao blast on Diwali eve in Goa, police said that three suspects who were detained in from Baramati rural police station of Maharastra have been brought to Goa on Sunday, Nov 1.
Though the Superintendent of Police and the Spokesman has dismissed the claim of arrests of two Sanatan Sanstha members, it has been confirmed that the SIM cards used in the blast were under the name of the two arrested suspects.
Earlier, it was reported that the Goa police had arrested two suspects linked with the Hindu-wing Sanatan Sanstha. It was also said the police had raided the outfit's office.
Two of the accused were killed in the blast.
On the eve of the Margao blast, police had diffused three other bombs, two in Margao and one at Sancoale village.
