Dasmunsi to be flown to Germany

New Delhi, Oct 31: Former Union Information and Broadcasting Minister will be flown to Dusseldorf,Germany for 15 day stem cell therapy in an Air India flight on Saturday, Oct 31.

Dasmunsi will be accompanied by two doctors including his wife Deepa and Pradesh Congress committee leader Abdul Mannan, who informed the media about the decision to take him to Germany.

The senior Congress leader was in critical condition for the last one year and he was admitted to AIIMS hospital on Oct 12, 2008 following severe heart problems. Dasmunsi was put on ventilator after the left ventricular of Dasmunsi's heart failed to function properly. He was then shifted to Apollo hospital.

He had suffered similar heart attacks during the no confidence motion passed against the UPA government before the attacks in Oct, 2008.
