JK: Army foils infiltration bid, kill 2 militants

Srinagar, Oct 30: The security forces on Friday, Oct 30 foiled an in infiltration bid in Bandipora district by killing two terrorists, a defence spokesman said.

The spokesman said that the two heavily-armed infiltrators were confronted by the security forced when they were trying to sneak into Gurez sector, 160 km from Srinagar.

"The militants were asked to surrender but they opened fire at the security forces," he said, adding in the ensuing gunbattle the duo was killed.
