Two militants killed in encounter in Poonch

Poonch, Oct 29 (ANI): Two militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Thursday.According to the police, a self-styled commander of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) among two militants killed in a 12-hour encounter in Mendhar area in Poonch district.

They were identified as Abu Omar and Khan.

A search operation is underway by the army at the encounter site.

Two AK rifles, eleven grenades and 120 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the site. (ANI)
