Ex employee arrested in B'lore triple murder case

Bangalore, Oct 29: In the latest development to the Bangalore triple murder case, discovered at Ramamurty Nagar, police have arrested the former office boy, Lokheswar and three of his accomplices, Dharmappa, Rajappa and Praveen for the murder of Rahul Das, an interior designer, his wife Pushpalata and daughter Agneeshu.

Police revealed that Lokeshwar was arrested based on the phone calls retrieved from Rahul's mobile phone. It has also been said that Lokeshwar was financial help by Rahul and he was a frequent visitor to his house.

As Rahul's business started to grow, Lokeshwar began to plot to acquire the entire property for himself.

On the fateful day, movie buff Lokeshwar visited Rahul with three of friends and murdered Rahul first in a filmy style. Then they murdered Agneeshu, the eye witness to the entire incident, while Pushpalata was the last one to be murdered.

The culprits were found with the stolen jewelery worth 3 lakhs at the time of arrest. However police are waiting for the forensic report before confirming Lokeshwar's story.

"The case has been solved. We are questioning the suspects and in the process of tying up the loose ends of the case. We need to get concrete evidence. It may take a day or two before the investigation becomes conclusive," said Shankar Bidari, city Police Commisioner.

Rahul was found hanging upside down with his head in a bucket and his legs tied to a water tap with a towel, while the body of his wife and daughter Agneeshu, student of Devamatha Central School on Oct 24, 2009 at the residence in Jayanthi Gram Layout near Ramamurthy Nagar Police Limit.
