US Ambassador hails busting of alleged terror plot by FBI
New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): U.S. Ambassador to India Timothy J. Roemer on Wednesday greeted the arrest of two men by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for their alleged role in plots to commit terrorist acts overseas.
"We congratulate our law enforcement agencies on this important breakthrough in the fight against the terrorism that challenges both the United States and India," said Roemer.Radical extremists plotting attacks are a common threat demanding a shared solution, close cooperation, and bold resolve. We salute the strong and ongoing efforts between our two governments and the peoples of our nations in this global fight," he added.
"Together, our great democracies stand committed to bringing terrorists to justice and will press forward aggressively until this goal is accomplished," he stressed.
Regarding the details of the report, Ambassador Roemer said, "We cannot comment on ongoing investigations and judicial roceedings." (ANI)
