Kerala: Entreprenuers alloted land
Kannur, Oct 26: Entrepreneurs are being alloted lands for the proposed new textile centre at Nandukani, Kannur district, promoted under Kerala Industrial Textile Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (KINFRA) International Apparel Park,Trivandrum.
The Center which will be equipped with all the basic amenities,including incentives for entrepreneurs along with training and management support is financed by Textile Center Infrastructure Development Scheme(TCIDS) of the Central government.
The 124 acre centre will be divided in to six wings and of which one will feature a wet processing area comprising of Common Effluent Treatment(CET) plant,dyeing and winding plant, bonded warehousing, water harvesting plant and hazardous waste treatment plant in the 94.08 acre out of the 124 acre land.
While the 33.76 acres will used for setting up textile units and the remaining 9.70 with mini apparel park will contain a standard design factory, including a creche and a dispensary.
The center's added attraction includes an centre also features conference and exhibition centre, bonded warehouse, water harvesting pond and green belt are among the infrastructure facilities.
