Vasundhara Raje finally resigns
New Delhi, Oct 23: After months of high drama, Varundhara Raje, the leader of opposition in the Rajasthan Assembly has finally resigned. According to the latest media reports, Raje has handed over her resignation letter to senior leader, LK Advani
This move comes ahead of the Bhratiya Janata Party parliamentary meet on Friday, Oct 23. The meeting was convened to discuss the matter concerning Raje, as well as the BJP's poor performance in the Assembly polls.
On Thursday, Oct 22, Raje was also expected to meet BJP"s pointsperson Sushma Swaraj but she did not make it to the meeting.
