Maha Polls: Poonam Mahajan loses Ghatkopar seat
Mumbai, Oct 22: Poonam Mahajan, the daughter of late Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Pramod Mahajan lost the Maharashtra Assembly elections to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) candidate Ram Kadam.
The BJP candidate who contested from Ghatkopar (West) seat bagged 31609 votes while Kadam won the seat with a massive 56575 votes in the 2009 Maharashtra Assembly Polls.
The Congress-NCP alliance has already crossed the half way mark.
