Rajnath's aircraft violated air safety norms
Ranchi, Oct. 20 (ANI): An aircraft carrying BJP President Rajnath Singh violated air safety norms when it took off in pitch dark from Dumka airport in Jharkhand.
The aircraft took off with the assistance of vehicle headlights, as there were no runway lights present at the airport on Monday.
The pilot of the aircraft was reportedly under pressure from Rajnath Singh to take off from the airstrip despite absence of vital facility of runway lights.
However, BJP have denied these reports saying that it was entirely the pilot's decision and Singh was not in haste to leave.
Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) will further set up an inquiry and question the pilot regarding the incident. (ANI)
