Himachal reports first H1N1 death, toll at 415
New Delhi, Oct 20: Two more Swine flu deaths reported on Monday, Oct 19 takes India's H1N1 death toll to 415.
Out of the two, Pune in Maharashtra, which is one of the worst affected region in the country reported one fatality, Himachal Pradesh's Salon reported the second.
This accounts for the first H1N1 death in the Himachal Pradesh, while Maharashtra state death toll mounts to 178.
Apart from this, 93 fresh cases of Swine Flu were reported on Monday, Oct 19. This takes the number of affected people in the country to 12,880. While Kerala reported the maximum of 33 cases, Tamil Nadu reported 18, Karnataka 16 and Delhi 10.
