Lahore Police receiving many hoax calls

Lahore, Oct. 16 (ANI): Lahore Police has received many hoax calls claiming terrorist attacks in different parts of the city.

According to police, such false alarms are raised by collaborators of a terror plot in a bid to divert the attention of police and clear the way for attackers.

Police Department sources revealed that a man called Rescue 15 Police 15 minutes before the FIA attack.

Five minutes later, Rescue 15 police received another call from an unidentified person, who claimed another attack had been launched near the Civil Lines Police Station, the Daily Times reports.

The FIA building was subsequently attacked as the police was engaged in operations prompted by false alarms. (ANI)
