Serial Murders: Goa police arrest four

Pananji, Oct 16: Goa police who were baffled and shocked with the string of murders that came to light in a span of four days has now made four arrests in connection with the mysterious murders.

Stating that the eight out of ten dead bodies found across the state were murders, the police on Thursday, Oct 15 said they have made a major breakthrough in investigation of at least four murders.

A slum-dweller Babu Reddy was arrested late on Thursday, Oct 15 . Three others were detained for questioning in connection with the killing a family of four which included a 35-year-old female victim who was sexually abused before the murder.

Police believe that the men who indulged in petty theft killed the other three members of the family when they resisted the rape of the woman.
