Repolling in Naxal-hit Gadchiroli underway
Nagpur, Oct 15: In Naxal-hit Gadchiroli district in Maharashtra, 22 polling stations including include seven in Armouri constituency, two in Gadchiroli and 13 in Aheri constituency will be repolling on Thursday, Oct 15.
Repolling in these stations are now underway. Apart from this, the Election Commission has ordered repolling at Jamdar High school polling booth in Nagpur-Central constituency as there were 23 excess votes were found during tally.
The polling in the above mentioned 22 stations could not take place on Oct 13 as the polling staff were unable to reach the spots.
Naxals had put up obstacles by either digging up roads to laid logs on the roads to obstruct transportation to remote areas.
