US drone attack kills 5 in Waziristan

Miranshah, Oct.15 : At least five persons were killed and seven others injured in a US drone attack in the Miranshah area of the North Waziristan Agency.

Sources said four persons were killed in the missile hit, which targeted a house, supposedly a terrorist hideout, late on Wednesday night, Oct 14.

One more person died later while being taken to hospital, The News reports.

Eyewitnesses said three missiles were fired from the unmanned aircraft.

Local residents feared more such attacks as drones were seen hovering over the region.
