4 more H1N1 deaths takes toll to 389
New Delhi, Oct 12: Swine flu has claimed four more lives taking the country's H1N1 toll to 389.
Out of the four new fatalities reported, two were reported from Maharashtra and two from Karnataka. With these deaths, Maharashtra as seen a total of 160 Swine Flu deaths while Karnataka has recorded 110 deaths.
About 96 fresh cases of Swine flu have been detected across the country on Sunday, Oct 11. With these new cases, the total number of infected people in the country mounts to 11,874.
Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state reporting 44 of the 96 cases. Delhi has detected 24 cases and Kerala 9.
