SBI branch manager kidnapped in Jharkhand

Jharkhand, Oct 10:Unidentified persons in Garhwa district abducted the branch manager of a nationalised bank, said the police.

Vijay Kumar Sharma, the manager of State Bank of India's Ramna branch, was returning home from Ramna on a motorcycle when he was abducted on Friday, Oct 9 evening.

However, pillion rider Satish Kumar, the bank's marketing officer, escaped in the attack.

Police launched raids to trace Sharma.
