Good that Rahul visited UP villages: RSS

Bihar, Oct 10: Unlike BJP which, criticised Rahul Gandhi's visit to villages, RSS said it was a good effort to know and understand the fate and lives of rural people.

"Bharatiya ho kar gaon ki baat karne mein galat kya hai... sabhi bharatiya ko gaon jana chahiye aur uski baat karni chahiye (every Indian should visit the villages and talks about it there is nothing wrong in it)," said Mohan Vaidya, the RSS media in-charge.

On the other hand, BJP termed the Congress leader's visit to Dalit villages in Uttar Pradesh as a 'farce'.

Vaidya said RSS felt such initiatives would help in rural development and control migration of people from one state to another in search of jobs.

"Migration from villages should be stopped and development must be defined in a village centric manner," said Vaidya.
