Powerful blast kills 10 in Peshawar
Peshawar, Oct 9: At least 10 people were killed and 40 others injured in a powerful blast that occurred in Peshawar on Friday, Oct 9.
According to sources, the blast took place in Khyber Bazaar near the North West Frontier province assembly building.
The blast, which occurred inside a bus, was so powerful that it shattered the windowpanes of the buildings nearby and destroyed several vehicles parked near the bus, an official said.
Injured persons, many of them in serious condition, were rushed to the Lady Reading hospital.
